Due to an exchange between La Escocesa and Kunsthaus Aussersihl (Switzerland) the swiss artist Georgette Maag is working at La Escocesa and next Friday 19th will open "Escrito en el viento", a solo exhibition @ Espai M. 

 

 

Georgette Maag is a precise observer and explorer of small incidents, transforming daily pictures and absurdities into  poetic thoughts. Her work makes use of video, photography, drawing and performing. It was shown  in various museums and art spaces in Switzerland, Germany, France and Italy.. In her first solo show in Spain the artist will present some recent videoworks but also will open her studio to show the ongoing process of collecting impressions during her short stay in Barcelona.

Opening reception on friday July 18 at 19 to 22 pm

Georgette will perform swiss yodelling on 20 and 21 pm
