La Esocesa's resdent artist, Stefanie Herr, presents her project "Feast", on october 21st as a closure for her international residency exchange program between La Escocesa and Islington Mill. 

During her three week residency Barcelona-based artist Stefanie Herr has been producing small scale intricate topographic models recreating food packaging. As part of her series Happy Hunting Grounds, these are contemporay still lifes or hunting scenes that critically reflect on the food industry, attempting to "resuscitate" animals processed for human consumption in a faux bucolic setting.

Stefanie is participating in an exchange program between La Escocesa and Islington Mill.



Preview Feast on Tuesday 21 October from 6pm onwards at the gallery space at Islington Mill. My friend Michael Holland will be playing bucolic music.
