La Escocesa’s Studio Public Call for Artists, 8th edition
La Escocesa, Visual Art Factory from Barcelona is now offering a studio for visual artists to develop his/her art work.
Vacant spaces and conditions
- 1 studio available since March 2014
- The workshop measuring 7x5 meters
- Monthly Price Workshop = 100 € (for selected individual projects) – 150 € (for selected collective projects)
- The workshop has a small dark room for photographic developing or store
- The residences are for two years maximum (renewable up to three years due to the developed project and the jury’s evaluation if necessary).
The jury
The evaluation of the selected artist/project will be done by a jury, with the following structure:
3 external members:
- Eulalia Valldosera, artist (Barcelona)
- David Armengol, independent curator (Barcelona)
- Laura Tammen, Senda Gallery (Barcelona)
- Pere Llobera, artist (from Associació d'Idees/La Escocesa)
- David Franklin, artist (from Associació d'Idees/La Escocesa)
- 1 member of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona. City Council of Barcelona
