La Escocesa Art Factory opens a call for residencies to visual artists to occupy 5 of his studios.

Open call for 5 residencies in La Escocesa, Art Center.
RESIDENCIES CALENDAR
A. 1 studio – residency from November 25, 2015 to November 25, 2017
B. 1 studio – residency from November 25, 2015 to November 25, 2017
C. 1 studio – residency from January 1, 2016 to January 1, 2018
D. 1 studio – residency from January 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016
E. 1 studio – residency from July 2, 2016 to December 31, 2016
FACILITIES
- 4 studios available in La Escocesa building.
- The studios are about 35 m2 (7x5 meters) in size.
- Monthly Price:
o Individual artists= 100 €
o Artists collectives= 150 €
- Plus additional 150 € fee in the beginning of the residency that will be returned in the end of it.
- Prices includes the following services:
§ Wireless Internet, electricity, water and supplies. Ability to use the common areas (kitchen, exhibition space -Espai M-…) and other services (utility room, computer and some tools and technical equipment of La Escocesa).
§ Ability to apply for international residency and production – exhibition grants for the resident artists.
§ Ability to exhibit at Espai M and to participate in other collaborative production and exhibition projects of the Center.
§ Promotion services trough La Escocesa’s communication channels (such as website, social networks, postcards…)

- From November, 17 to November 20, 2015: Personal interviews with the chosen candidates
- November 21, 2015: Official communication of the selected artists
